Knology, Inc., is currently seeking an outstanding legal professional to join our Corporate Legal & Regulatory Team in West Point !
The selected candidate will provide in-house advice and counsel on a broad range of matters, including, but not limited to, at least three of the following areas: contract negotiations, litigation, programming agreements, regulatory matters, labor and employment, intellectual property, franchise negotiations, network construction, and maintenance agreements.
Major duties and responsibilities will include:
• Act as legal counsel for the Company, providing legal and business advice to management.
• Respond to regulatory agencies.
• Manage outside counsel with respect to litigation.
• Negotiate, draft, and review contracts.
• Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures designed to ensure legal compliance.
• Respond to demand letters, subpoenas, and other external communications.

Attributes we seek in a candidate include:
A Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school and 3 to 6 years of experience with a varied, substantive background in the industry, and a willingness to learn new areas of the law. Either experience with a law firm or as in-house counsel to a company in the industry. Ability to manage numerous complex tasks. Excellent academic and work credentials.
